Quick start
Setting up takes a few minutes. Managers create the organisation and first store; crew join with an invite link or code.
For managers

Get the app and sign up
Install ShiftFlex from Google Play and tap Get started. Sign up with email (you'll confirm a 6-digit code) or Continue with Google.

Choose "I run stores"
Enter your business name and your name.

Add your first store
Give it a name and address, and choose how close crew must be to check in. You can add more stores any time.

Post your first shift
From the ready screen tap Post your first shift, or do it later from Today. See Posting shifts.

Invite your crew
Go to More → Invite crew. Share your join code or send email invites. See Team & invites.

Set your rules
In More → Stores, roles and rules, add job roles and default rates, certificates, claim rules, overtime and notice period.

Open your invite
Open the link your manager sent, or install ShiftFlex and choose I work shifts, then enter the 6-character code.

Tell us about you
Add your name, an optional mobile number and your home store.

Pick your roles and times
Choose every role you're trained for and when suits you. ShiftFlex shows how many open shifts match.

Turn on notifications
So you hear about matching shifts and surge pay first.
If you join with your team's code rather than a personal invite, a manager approves you first. You'll see Request sent until they do.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. New organisations get the Business plan free for 14 days with no card, and the Free plan (one store, up to 20 people) has no time limit.
Can I be a manager and crew?
Yes. Switch with Crew view in More, or Manager view in Me.
Can I belong to more than one organisation?
Yes. Use Switch organisation in Me or More.
