Starting a Break (Employee)

While clocked in to a shift, you'll see a Start Break button at the top of the active shift screen.

  1. Tap Start Break. The app begins tracking your break duration with a live timer.
  2. When you return, tap End Break. The break duration is saved to your shift record.

You can take multiple breaks in a single shift. Each break is recorded separately.

In the Time & Attendance dashboard, each shift record shows:

  • Clock-in time
  • Clock-out time
  • Total break duration (summed across all breaks)
  • Net worked hours (total shift time minus break time)
