Finding and claiming shifts

1. Open Shifts. Browse by day and time of day (Morning, Afternoon, Night), or tap Surge for shifts paying extra.
2. Use the filter to show Only shifts I can claim or Only when I'm available, or search by role or store.
3. Open a shift to see the store, notes and the full pay: hours × rate, any surge and the total.
4. Tap Claim. Some stores book you straight away; others ask a manager to confirm first.

ShiftFlex warns you before you claim if it's outside your availability, too soon after another shift, or over your hours. A claim that would put you into overtime waits for a manager. Claims need a connection, because shifts go first come, first served.

Check in from the shift (it opens 2 hours before), then use the timer for breaks and check out at the end. See Time & attendance and Break tracking.

Can't make it?

Open the shift and tap Can't make it?

• Find someone to swap: ask anyone qualified, or a teammate. You stay on the shift until a manager approves. See Shift swaps.
• Give it up: it goes back to the open list and your manager is told. Inside the notice window (24 hours by default) that's a late drop on your record.
