Manager Overview
As a Manager in ShiftFlex, you control your organization's scheduling, team, payroll, and analytics. Here's a map of everything available to you.
App Navigation
The Manager app is organized into five main tabs at the bottom of the screen:

| Dashboard | At-a-glance pending actions, recent activity, quick action buttons with live counts for pending swaps, time approvals, and incidents |
| Shifts | All shifts organized by status — open, claimed, in progress, and completed. Create new shifts from here. |
| Roster | Calendar view of all scheduled shifts across your team. Filter by employee, location, or role. |
| Team | View all employees, their profiles, skills, certifications, and availability. |
| Settings | Organization settings, locations, billing, announcements, payroll, analytics, and more. |
The Manager Dashboard
Your dashboard shows everything that needs attention right now. The Quick Actions section shows live badges:
- Pending Swaps — number of shift swap requests awaiting your approval
- Time Approvals — employee time logs flagged for review
- Incidents — open incident reports that need your attention
Tap any quick action to jump directly to that screen.

ShiftFlex supports three levels of access within an organization:

Organization Settings
Access settings by tapping the gear icon. Key areas include:
- Organization Info — name, logo, timezone, industry
- Locations — add/edit work locations with GPS coordinates
- Skills — create and manage skills required for shifts
- Invitations — send and manage team invites
- Announcements — post organization-wide messages
- Documents — review and verify employee certifications
- Billing — manage your subscription plan
- Audit Logs — view action history across your organization
If you manage multiple businesses, ShiftFlex supports multiple organizations under the same account. Switch between them from the organization selector on the home screen.
