Delete Account Data
Instructions on how to request deletion of your ShiftFlex account and associated data.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and all associated data will be removed.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete via the ShiftFlex App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:
- Open the ShiftFlex app on your device.
- Go to the Menu tab on the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to the "Data & Account" section.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Option 2: Delete via Email Request
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion via email. Please send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your ShiftFlex account.
Request Deletion via Email* We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account security. Requests are typically processed within 48 to 72 hours.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Data that will be permanently deleted:
- Personal information (Name, Email, Phone Number)
- Profile details, avatar, and notification settings
- Shift availability and preferences
- Payment tracking and earnings data (unless required by law)
- Receipt uploads and expenses (unless required by law)
Data that may be retained:
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some information even after account deletion:
- Financial and Payroll Records: Data related to completed shifts, payments, and tips may be retained by your organization (the ShiftFlex Cluster Owner) for legal, tax, and accounting compliance purposes.
- Audit Logs: Anonymized internal logs may be retained for security and operational integrity.
